Buckingham took on his current role in February 2023 after joining The Coca-Cola Company in 1999. In Q1 2025, the company reported organic revenue growth of 7% for the EMEA region. The Middle East contributed positively to this growth with an 8% increase. In 2024, the Middle East accounted for an annual retail sales value of $2.1 billion. Buckingham also serves on the boards of the Multinational Companies Business Group’s Regional Presidents Forum, the EMEA Business Group, and Coca-Cola’s bottlers in the U.A.E., Qatar, and Bahrain.
