Mallak assumed his current position in 2021. In April 2025, MSD GCC signed an MoU with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center regarding disease awareness, education, prevention, and best practice sharing. It also signed an MoU with the Local Content Authority in Saudi Arabia, alongside one with Oman’s Ministry of Health related to HPV prevention, screening, and vaccination. Mallak is also the DE&I Council Lead for MSD’s EEMEA region, and he is a board member of AmCham Dubai and an executive committee member of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association Gulf.
