Koleilat assumed his current position in 2024, having first joined GE in 2006. In February 2025, GE Aerospace announced a $10 million investment in its two maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities in the Middle East. In May 2025, GE Aerospace and Boeing secured a $96 billion agreement from Qatar Airways to acquire up to 210 U.S.-made Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X aircraft, powered by GE Aerospace engines. Koleilat previously led GE’s growth strategy across businesses as President & CEO of GE in Iraq and the Levant between 2012 and 2017.
