Guy Hutchinson served as president and CEO of Rotana from 2020 before assuming his current role at Hilton in 2024. Hilton expanded its footprint in Makkah and Madinah with multiple hotel signings in 2024, including partnerships for new properties in Madinah’s Islamic World District and the city’s first Waldorf Astoria. In December 2024, the company announced the signing of more than 10 new properties in Egypt, which brings Hilton’s pipeline in the country to 25 hotels. In May 2025, Hilton announced its plans to hit the milestone of 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline in Saudi Arabia this year. Hutchinson also serves as vice chairman of the Dubai Hotels Business Group and is a member of Hilton’s EMEA Executive Committee.
