Anis joined GE Vernova in 1997 and took on his current role in 2021. In May 2025, during President Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia, GE Vernova announced up to $14.2 billion in energy projects, including $2 billion in current agreements, to support the kingdom’s Vision 2030 and net-zero goals, with collaborations with the Saudi Electricity Company, Principal Buyer, ACWA Power, and Saudi Aramco. Anis is also a member of the US-U.A.E. Business Council and the Syracuse Alumni Board Regional Council, and co-chair and executive sponsor of GE Vernova’s global Gas Power Women’s Network.
