Roy took on his current role in 2019, after joining Tata Consultancy Services in 1992. In February 2025, Tata Consultancy Services expanded its regional footprint with the launch of a new office in Oman. The company signed an MoU with the King Khalid Foundation in Saudi Arabia in April 2024 to advance sustainable digital initiatives. Roy also serves as a board member of the company in Saudi Arabia, chairman of the Tata Network, and a member of the ICT Working Group at the Abu Dhabi Chamber.
