Alinma Bank launched three sustainable finance products: its sustainable sukuk, sustainable savings account, and finance electric vehicles as part of its auto financing portfolio. In June 2025, it inaugurated its sustainability sukuk, with an issuance of $500 million, which was oversubscribed by over three times. In 2024, it installed 6,125 solar panels across 73 branches, generating around 2.5 megawatts of electricity. AlKhalifa assumed his current role in 2021.
