In 2024, PDO generated renewable energy through more than 11 megawatts of solar output at MAF HQ and a 100 megawatt solar facility. It focused on methane emission reductions through site-level surveys across more than 20 facilities using drone-based sensors, optical gas imaging, and VISR technology, complementing a full LDAR cycle to ensure asset-wide leak detection and repair. It also diverted produced water through the Yibal to the Lekhwair pipeline to replace aquifer water use, resulting in a decrease from 36,000 m3/d in 2020 to 27,000 m3/d in 2024. Al Hadhrami joined the company in his current position in May 2024.
