The IFFCO Group started transitioning its transport fleet to B7 biodiesel, reaching 30% conversion in the U.A.E. by the end of 2024, which equates to 120 vehicles. This initiative reduced the transport share of the group’s carbon footprint from 11% to 7%. It also doubled its on-site renewable energy generation from 2,539 to 5,140 megawatt-hours, increasing the share of renewables in total electricity use from 1.1% to 2.1%, with seven facilities now equipped with operational solar panels. Epifanova has been in her current role since 2021.
