In the 2024-25 financial year, Emirates generated 8,300 MWh of solar power annually across key sites, saving 3,300 tons of CO₂e. It also launched a 23,200 kilowatt-peak solar project with Etihad Clean Energy Development to supply 37% of the Emirates Engineering Center’s energy needs by 2026. Emirates Flight Catering produced 4,000 megawatt-hours of solar power and cut 1,600 tons of CO₂e, while its LFC-50 biodigester processed 74,550 kilograms of food waste, reducing emissions by 317 tons. Emirates also increased its sustainable aviation fuel consumption to 7,519 tons, up from 1,297 tons in 2023-24.
