Founded in 2015 by Crane, Yellow Door Energy has a portfolio of 400 megawatts of solar projects across seven countries, and has generated over a billion KWh of clean electricity as of August 2025. In 2024, it expanded its portfolio by 32.7 MWp, commissioning 27 projects across the U.A.E., Bahrain, Oman, and South Africa, while acquiring five operating sites in Oman. In March 2025, the company announced a 31.5 MWp solar partnership with EMSTEEL in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. In April 2025, it partnered with GWC to develop one of the GCC’s largest private solar projects in Qatar.
