The BEEAH Group was founded as a public-private partnership in 2007 and today operates in the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. In 2025, BEEAH achieved a 93% landfill diversion rate in Sharjah—the highest in the region. In January 2025, the company signed a partnership with the U.A.E.’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure to build a commercial-scale, hydrogen-to-waste plant, with the first phase expected to be commissioned in Q2 2027. In June 2025, BEEAH unveiled climate-smart, zero-waste city Khalid Bin Sultan City, which will offer 1,500 freehold residential units across seven neighborhoods. Al Huraimel joined BEEAH in 2009.
