In 2024, Dubai Investments cut electricity use by 12%, greenhouse gas emissions by 9.5%, sourced 25% of energy from alternatives, and shifted DIP patrol vehicles to hybrids, reducing petrol use by 58% and diesel by 42%. Its subsidiary, Emirates Extrusion Factory, partnered with UCS in May 2025 to launch the U.A.E.’s first zero-waste green curtain wall system. It also partnered with Jotun on sustainable coatings and recycled 1,283 MT of aluminum scrap and 1,741 MT of other waste with zero landfill. Bin Kalban joined as managing director and CEO in 1995 and became vice chairman and CEO in 2020.
