In 2025, QIB's sustainable assets portfolio reached about $1.6 billion, supporting 88 projects aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the UN SDGs. The bank completed its first financed emissions assessment and launched the Sustainable Flexi Certificate of Deposit, enabling customers to invest in Shari'a-compliant deposits that support environmental and social projects. Gamal has led QIB as group CEO since 2013.
