In 2026, Silal Group presented its AI-powered ESG platform, ‘ZERO’, developed by Olive Gaea, to automate carbon tracking and ESG data collection across its subsidiaries. Silal Group also partnered with Limagrain Vegetable Seeds (LVS) in 2025 to establish the Center of Excellence for Abiotic Resilience and Crop Genomics (ARC-GEN) in Al Ain, supporting gene-editing research to develop crop varieties resilient to extreme heat, drought, and salinity. Al Qasimi has led Silal as group CEO since 2025.
