M42 uses AI and genomics to connect human and environmental health as well as population data to anticipate health threats. Its RASID platform, developed with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, analyzes wastewater across 100 sites in Abu Dhabi. It conducts 11.5 million annual tests through RASID AI to help identify emerging public-health risks. M42 has also worked with the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi on Ghaf-tree genome sequencing to support conservation and partnered with OceanX and the Environment Agency to conduct genome sequencing and DNA analysis of marine species. Moulavasilis became group CEO in 2025, before which he was CEO of M42’s Global Patient Care platform.
