In 2025, Milaha diverted 23% of waste from disposal through recycling and recovery initiatives, under its environment 2030 plan. In March 2025, it launched an AI-enabled Energy Management System at the Milaha Logistics City Qatar Ammonia Plant to optimize electricity consumption. It also reduced fuel consumption by approximately 0.7 m³ per day and CO₂ emissions by 40–45 tonnes per month through its fleet energy-efficiency initiative developed with Shell. Al-Qahtani assumed his current role in February 2024.
