In 2025, Desert Technologies signed an agreement with Genesis Energy Holding to implement high-efficiency solar PV and battery storage systems across sub-Saharan Africa, aiming to provide electricity to over 600 million people currently without access to it. Desert Technologies also reported avoiding over 126,055 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent in 2025 through its renewable energy projects, including over 200 MW of installed generation capacity.
