During the first nine months of 2026, Rove saved around 1.8 million kWh in electricity, 50,315m3 of water which avoided 964 tonnes of CO2. Heat pumps helped offset approximately 340,000 liters of propane. By January 2026, it had rolled out demand-controlled kitchen ventilation across its hotels, with an estimated 30% reduction in ventilation energy use. Rove’s hotels are Green Key certified, and most of its Dubai properties have received the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Stamp. Elshohna has headed its Sustainability Committee since 2024 and is cluster director of engineering.
