In 2025, NMDC recycled over 12,200 metric tons of non-hazardous waste and used static compactors to cut monthly landfill waste by 40%. It also invested over $252 million in clean technology and sustainable engineering initiatives. Throughout 2026, NMDC Group expanded its biodiversity initiatives by planting 200,000 to 350,000 mangrove seedlings and deploying 100 artificial reef domes with the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi.
