EtihadWE's energy- and sustainability-focused portfolio includes participation in the 1,700-MW Misfah and 877-MW Duqm power plants in Oman, the 1,500-MW Dawadmi Wind Power Project in Saudi Arabia, and the Fujairah I Independent Water Producer project in the UAE. Through UAEV, its joint venture with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, EtihadWE is supporting the expansion of the UAE’s first government-owned EV charging network to more than 120 charging ports, targeting 1,000 high-speed charging stations by 2030. Al Ali assumed his current role in 2023.
