Emad Al Muhaidib is vice chairman of Al Muhaidib Group, a Dammam-based family-owned conglomerate. The group invests in consumer products, infrastructure, construction, real estate, and finance. Emad owns 28% of the company. Al Muhaidib Group was founded in 1943 by his father Abdulkadir, who began as a food trader before expanding into building materials and real estate. Emad and his brothers Essam and Sulaiman took over after Abdulkadir’s death in 1996. They share ownership with four other family members. The group owns shares in at least 16 publicly traded companies in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
