The group started in 1943 when the late Sheikh Mohamed Mahmoud Zahid founded M.M. Zahid, representing General Motors as its first business. Today, the Zahid Group operates across 14 sectors, 30 companies, and 23 countries. In 2023, one of the group’s companies, TAMGO, signed an exclusive distribution agreement with AFC Energy to distribute its H-Power Fuel Cell Generators in Saudi Arabia and 16 other countries.
