Alrowwad assumed his current position in 2019, having started his career at the company in 1989. In July 2025, the JPMC and Jordan-based Arab Potash Company signed an agreement to establish a specialty fertilizer production complex in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and Sheidiya. Alrowwad is concurrently Chairman of Jordan Industrial Ports Company, and Deputy Chairman of the Arab Fertilizer Association. He is also General Manager of the Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company.
