Lootah has served as the Director General of the Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) since 2022. She is also the Director General and a Board Member of Dubai CommerCity, as well as a member of the Executive Leadership Team at the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ). Under her leadership, DAFZ contributed 13.5% of Dubai’s total foreign trade in 2024, exceeding $89.9 billion. She also oversees the operations of Dubai CommerCity, the region’s first free zone dedicated to digital commerce, which has reached near full occupancy. Lootah played a strategic role in the development of Oraseya Capital, the investment arm of DIEZ, which ranked first among the most active investors in the UAE in 2024 with 24 strategic investments. She also leads the operations of the Halal Trade and Marketing Center, which has strengthened its international presence through major projects, strategic initiatives, and partnerships across more than 35 countries in 6 continents. In addition, she sits on the Board of Tradeling Holding, which in 2024 acquired the distribution operations of Axiom Telecom across the Middle East and North Africa.
