Ezz Al-Arab was reappointed CEO and Board Member of CIB-Egypt in November 2024. In October 2025, CIB extended $632 million in long-term financing to SCZONE to fund infrastructure, utilities, energy, water, and transport projects. As of June 2025, the bank reported total assets of $27.8 billion and net profit of $702.3 million in H1 2025. Ezz Al-Arab is also Chairman of the CIB Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on children’s healthcare across Egypt. He served as Chairman and Managing Director of CIB for nearly two decades.
