Al-Argoubi assumed his current position in December 2022. MODON has 39 industrial cities under supervision, over 7,400 factories across more than 220 million sqm of developed lands. In November 2024, MODON launched the 11.2 million sqm Jeddah Food Cluster with $5.3 billion in planned investments by 2035, consolidating cold-chain logistics, halal processing, and packaging for domestic and global markets. In February 2025, MODON signed several strategic agreements with local and international partners to establish four datacenters, with a $1.7 billion investment. Al-Argoubi is also the Chairman of ASAS Company.
