Al Ansari assumed his current position in 2023. The group operates in the GCC region with over 470 branches and 6,000 employees and its subsidiaries include Al Ansari Exchange (U.A.E.), Blue Remit, Cashtrans Money & Valuables Transport Services, among others. In H1 2025, the group had total assets of $1.3 billion and generated $178.4 million in total income. In April 2025, the group acquired the BFC Group in Bahrain and its subsidiaries in Kuwait and India in a deal valued at $200 million. Al Ansari is the Chairman of BFC Bahrain and Bahrain Exchange Company.
