Al Hadhrami assumed his current position in May 2024. In 2025, PDO’s production exceeded 700,000 barrels of crude oil per day, its highest average production since 2002, while reducing lost time injuries by 15%. In May 2026, PDO inaugurated the Bait Al Haitham, its integrated operations center, which enables end-to-end remote monitoring and control of all oil, gas, power generation, and export assets across a concession area of 75,000 km². Al Hadhrami also previously served as vice chairman of the Oman Energy Association (OPAL) and currently serves as a member of the CEPS advisory board of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
