Gamal has been Group CEO since 2013. QIB has a network of 22 branches and offices and over 175 ATMs and CDMs as of March 2026. In Q1 2026, QIB reported $61.5 billion in total assets and $270.7 million in net profit. In 2026, QIB issued a $750 million five-year Sukuk and further expanded its digital-first strategy through the QIB Mobile App, which now offers more than 320 features and services. Gamal is also the chairman of QIB UK and a board member of QInvest.
