In Q1 2026, SABIC reported $6.9 billion in revenues and signed a strategic agreement with the Public Investment Fund–Pirelli joint venture, enabling the joint venture to manufacture 3.5 million tires annually in Saudi Arabia. Alfaqeer is also the Chairman of the Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA), the Saudi Petrochemical Manufacturers Committee, and the Nusaned Investment Company.
