Al Mannai assumed his current position in 2020. In Q1 2026, QIC had $879 million in Gross Written Premium, a 13% year-on-year increase. During the Web Summit Qatar 2026, QIC signed 14 strategic agreements and MoUs to accelerate AI adoption across Qatar’s financial institutions, finTech innovation, and talent development. Al Mannai also serves as vice chairman and managing director of QLM Life & Medical Insurance Company, chairman of Oman Qatar Insurance Company and QIC Asset Management, and a board member of The Commercial Bank and Alternatif Bank in Türkiye.
