Nakilat operates the world’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping fleet, comprising of 74 vessels, comprising 69 LNG and 4 LPG carriers as well as 1 FSRU. Qatar’s LNG supply chain is one of the main sources of revenue for the country. The company was awarded the Sword of Honour from the British Safety Council for three years in a row. CEO Abdullah Fadhalah Al-Sulaiti joined Nakilat in February 2011 as deputy managing director. He was previously shipping manager at Qatargas from 2006.
