Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum has led the Emirates Airline & Group since its founding in 1985. In the 2024/25 financial year, the group recorded $39.6 billion in revenues, a 6% increase compared to 2023/24, and $49.7 billion in assets. Emirates carried 53.7 million passengers on a fleet of 260 carriers, while dnata handled 3.1 million tonnes of cargo, a 9% YoY increase. With nearly 40 years in aviation, Al Maktoum also chairs Dubai Airports, Dubai Duty Free, and is President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.
