Golbarg first joined Minor Hotels in 2012 as director of operations and hotel openings in Bangkok before leaving and later coming back in 2019 as vice-president of operations in the Middle East. He assumed his current role in 2023. Minor Hotels manages a portfolio of more than 560 hotels in 57 countries. In May 2025, it signed a deal with Seven Tides to operate DUKES The Palm, a 560-key and serviced apartments beachfront hotel on Palm West Beach from August 2025. Golbarg previously worked with Al Rayyan Hospitality, Jumeirah, and Katara Hospitality.
