Al Qassim has been CEO of Wasl since joining the company in 2008. Its portfolio includes over 35 hotels, serviced apartments, golf clubs, and yacht clubs. In December 2024, Wasl extended its partnership with Etihad Energy Services to implement solar installations, building retrofits, and electric vehicle charging stations, and establish an advanced command control center. In the same month, Wasl Group and MBRHE signed an MoU to jointly pursue innovative housing projects. Al Qassim also serves as chairman of Emirates NBD Egypt, Emirates Islamic and serves on DIFC’s higher board and e&’s board, among others.
