Meier joined Jumeirah, a member of Dubai Holding, as COO in 2021, and assumed his CEO position in January 2025, having served as Interim CEO from February 2024. In April 2025, Jumeirah announced three new developments in Dubai: Jumeirah Asora Bay, Jumeirah Residences Asora Bay, and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers. Meier oversaw Jumeirah’s expansion into the African market in December 2024. He previously led new openings and integrations globally for Fairmont, Swissotel, and Raffles, before joining Minor Hotels in 2016.
