Al-Fakhri has led TDF since its founding in 2020. TDF has approved 138 tourism and hospitality projects worth $10.3 billion, expected to add more than 11,200 new hotel rooms and serviced apartments across Saudi Arabia, including Rixos Murjana in King Abdullah Economic City, the Kingdom's largest ultra-all-inclusive resort. In 2024, Al-Fakhri also served as acting CEO of the Event Investment Fund (EIF) and was appointed to the Executive Committee of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
