Abol-Enein joined and assumed his current position in 2012. CIAM, a CI Capital Holding subsidiary, had $3 billion in assets under management in 2025, a twofold annual increase compared to 2024. Between 2024-2025, CIAM launched Egypt’s first sector-focused funds, a gold investment fund, a USD fixed income fund in collaboration with Menthum, and Egypt’s first ESG-dedicated fund, and secured an institutional mandate from the Pan-Arab sovereign wealt`h entity Arab Invest (formerly The Arab Investment Company). An adjunct professor at IE University, Abol-Enein is also a board member at Misr Life Insurance – Takaful.
