Abo Al Fadl assumed his current role in 2020, having first joined the company in 2002. In October 2024, Merck Gulf, in collaboration with Companies Creating Change (C3), launched I-nnovate a hub for stakeholders to develop accessible healthcare solutions in the U.A.E. Abo Al Fadl oversaw the launch of the National Screening Programme for Prediabetes and Diabetes in partnership with the U.A.E.’s Ministry of Health and Prevention. The programme has screened more than 175,000 people in less than two years and has been incorporated into national policy with plans to expand across the GCC. He also serves on the Executive Committee of PHRMAG.
