Boueiz joined AHF in 1999 and became CEO in 2016, leading its expansion to 1,720 member hospitals across 22 countries, up from 850 in previous years. In 2025, she signed an MoU with WHO EMRO covering four priority areas: accreditation, quality and patient safety, artificial intelligence, hospital resilience and sustainability, and capacity building and development, and formalized a partnership with Egypt’s Healthcare Authority while collaborating with Bahrain’s Supreme Council of Health on the Bahrain Declaration for Healthcare Transformation. Boueiz leads MCE Group SARL, Apex Medical, and Proconnect Management Services.
