Alshammari assumed his current role in December 2021. He has overseen the integration of all hospitals and primary healthcare centers into a unified Health Information System between 2022 and 2024. The Aljouf Health Cluster comprises 14 hospitals and 60 primary health centers, and over 10,000 employees. In 2024, over 80% of primary healthcare centers obtained CBAHI accreditation, and the Women and Children’s Hospital in Al-Jouf earned CBAHI accreditation in Q4 2024 for the first time since its inception. Alshammari is also the CEO of Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City in Sakaka, Al-Jouf region.
