Porcile assumed his current role in July 2025, after joining the company in 2009. In September 2025, Takeda West Gulf signed an MoU with the Saudi Gastroenterology Association (SGA) to elevate standards of care, empower healthcare professionals, and support patients and caregivers in Saudi Arabia. In December 2024, Hikma acquired rights to a portfolio of 17 Takeda brands for the MENA region. Porcile previously worked for over 12 years at Schering-Plough (now MSD).
