Tamer joined the family business in 1986 and assumed his current role in 2000. The group, which began with the first pharmacy in the Arabian Peninsula, has since grown into a leading Saudi health company with a 12.9% compound annual growth rate and a 20% market share. In December 2024, Tamer Group signed an MoU with the Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health to develop a digital platform for the Perioperative Surgical Clinical Pathway. Tamer also sits on the boards of SAJA Pharmaceuticals and Pearl Initiative and serves as an honorary advisory board member at Effat University.
