Al-Hammouri has held his current role since May 1999. In March 2025, it became the first private hospital in Jordan to introduce Advanced Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology, used for diagnosing cancers, identifying rare genetic disorders, guiding personalized treatment, and assessing reproductive and hereditary health conditions. Al-Hammouri is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and one of the founders and honorary president of the Global Healthcare Travel Council, and in June 2025, he was reelected as chairman of the Private Hospitals Association in Jordan.
