Tazi joined SOTHEMA in 1997 and became CEO in 2019. The company operates eight production units and reported $306 million in revenue in 2024. In July 2025, SOTHEMA reached an agreement to acquire 99.99% of the share capital of Soludia Maghreb, for an enterprise value of nearly $111 million. In 2024, it launched 18 products in Morocco, generating $5.8 million in revenue, with six produced locally and 12 imported. Tazi oversees 1,400 employees and also serves as Vice President of the Moroccan Federation of the Pharmaceutical Industry & Innovation.
