Al Habib founded HMG in 1995 as the Olaya Medical Complex, which has since grown into one of the region’s largest private healthcare providers. As of H1 2025, the group had 22 hospitals and medical centers and one operating contract across Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E., with three more under construction and a workforce of 283,000 people. In H1 2025, HMG reported $1.7 billion in revenues, $6 billion in assets and opened Sehat Al Hamra Hospital, Khobar Medical Center, Al Muhammadiyah Hospital, and Al Kharj Hospital. Forbes estimates Al Habib’s net worth at $10.2 billion as of September 2025.
