Fakih founded Blue Ocean Health and the Fakih IVF Group in 2011. In February 2025, Fakih reacquired the remaining stake in Fakih IVF, restoring founder ownership under Blue Ocean Health. Since then, the Blue Ocean Health network expanded to over 20 centers across the UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Lebanon, including the opening of the Fakih IVF Khalifa City branch and the launch of Fakih IVF at Zulekha Hospital. In January 2026, it achieved recognition under the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi JAWDA Pay for Quality Program. Fakih began his IVF journey in 1987 in Michigan, where he established one of his first fertility centers.
