In November 2024, Hassan Allam Utilities, Masdar, and Infinity Power announced two power purchase agreements with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company to construct solar projects with a combined capacity of 1.2 gigawatts. In December 2024, HAU Energy, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Utilities and ACWA Power, achieved financial close for the 1.1-gigawatt Suez Wind Farm in Egypt, the largest single-contracted wind farm in the Middle East.
