In 2021, FinanceCom merged into Holding Benjelloun Mezian, forming the O Capital Group, which is among Bank of Africa’s largest shareholders, with a stake of 7.16% as of April 2025. In November 2024, the group’s subsidiary, O Tower, project developer and operator for the Mohammed VI Tower, announced the signing of a management agreement with Hilton for the hotel at the Mohammed VI Tower under the Waldorf Astoria brand, set to open in 2025. As of April 2025, Benjelloun and his family’s net worth was $1.6 billion.
